One problem is that there are curation rewards.
A better formula is this:
POST_VALUE * 3/4 = AUTH_REWARD (get rid of curation, estimated between 1/3 to 1/4 of the post)
AUTH_REWARD / 2 * SBD_PRICE = SBD_PAYOUT
The tools doesn't try to calculate the author reward from the post reward.
It takes as input the author reward.
But you right. It can be an evolution.
