How to vote in percentage and earn best curation in utopian.io even though you have less than 500 SP
Everyone knows that until we have voting power of 500 or more we don't get the slider to vote a post in some percentage. So you always have to vote in 100 percent and to keep your voting power in good state, you ideally should vote not more than 12-14 posts in a day with 100 percent VP. However, that does not give you a lot of opportunity to earn Curation. To have better cuaration, you would always wish to vote maximum posts that you think, will earn good reward and as a result you get more curation. And that too keeping your voting power in tact as well as allowing you to manually curate good posts.
The good news is that, you can do this using utopian.io. Have you ever seen your settings in utopian.io ?
If you have not, I strongly advise you go and have a look
This is how it looks and you can set the voting slider there. And every time you vote in the utopian platform, it will use that voting percent.
The only limitation here is that, you could curate posts only in utopian platform, but I would consider that as an asset, because currently utopian is the best platform in Steem Blockchain giving maximum rewards. So you don't need to go and spend time to find out good posts. You can see the posts submitted in utopian and curate them because most of the posts are good and will mostly likely be rewarded by the utopian bot. And looking at quality of the content and the reputation of the author will be helpful as well. You can also see how their previous posts has been rewarded in utopian platform.

Hey sorry but what exactly is utopian io?..i have no idea..i used to think its just the name of some whale
utopian io is built on top of Steem blockchain, and rewards contributions that are related to open source. So you can just give an idea about Steem blockchain or utopian itself and get rewarded. They have so many categories, so you can always have something posted, given that you come from technical background.
I strongly recommend to have a look, it won't take much time. Feel free to ping me in Steemit chat any time, if you need any help.

Hi! This is a smart tutorial, and an edge-case for Utopian mods! (Thank God I didn't find this one first for moderation! ;-) I personally upvoted this tutorial, because I personally like it.
However, to consult Arie.Steem [mod], as a Utopian mod myself, this is what I think of it, from a Utopian moderation point-of-view:

So, as a Utopian moderator, I think I would reject this
However, I also would encourage you to re-write it as a "Suggestion" for "steemit/condenser", because that would qualify, I think! (Unless already proposed, I didn't check yet)

Steemit does not give the ability to vote in percentage where as utopian does. And when you set the percentage in utopian, you can only use inside utopian. So that is why this was more specific to utopian platform, which gives more power than Steemit.

I understand! But please also understand the stance of the Utopian moderators! We need to assess content to be either approved or rejected for a Utopian upvote according to the rules. I didn't need to comment at all because arie.steem [mod] was on it, and still is. But I did want to give you some advice to be able to get approved. So please, consult arie.steem [mod] about this (re-writing some parts and filing under suggestion for steemit/condenser) and good luck!!!
I think, you are not getting the point, I am not asking steemit/condenser to implement the feature, I am advising people to use utopian instead to curate because it gives more ability. You could do that in other platform like busy or ChainBB, but this post says it to do on utopian hence the tag falls into utopian.
If that is your stance, from a Utopian moderator point-of-view your post should be rejected, because the tutorial is too trivial.
But you have 1 more chance to get approved, if you re-write it as a suggestion feature ti be implemented in steemit/condenser.
If you do not, that is your right of course, we reserve the right to reject it as a Utopian contributionfor being too trivial for Utopian itself
