my first contribution on an open source project ; translating busy.org to arabic
Hello!
This is my first post via utopian.io.
it's been more than 25 days since i saw a post talking about busy.org i visited their website , and i loved how simple is the ui , now i moved from steemit.com and iam a daily user of busy.org ,
why i moved from steemit to busy :
multi-lingual : It's great that everyone can use the Steem-blockchain in his native language: read , vote, make posts. and I am sure that many users, as well as I dream, that sometime Steemit will also be multi-lingual.
it's been 10 days since i translated busy to arabic , in the day befour that i saw the call for translators post , and because i speak 3 languages ( english , arabic , french ) i thought why not helping them , so i contacted @fabien ( developer of this project) .
and i asked him if they need help with the french and Arabic languages , after 5 minutes he Replyed saying they have other people working on the french language but they can use my help to translate busy to Arabic , and he send me a link https://crowdin.com/translate/busy/13/en-ar that show , where i can start working on the translation
Most of the translation was simple words, like "search", "comments", "settings" - it's hard to make mistakes here, and in most cases even machine suggestions were quite accurate. Just push "upvote" and next, "upvote" and next ...
i spent like 1 hour working in the translation , when i finished i contacted @fabien he was so happy , he thanked me and activated the language on the busy beta version,
he also send me 20 sbd :)
If you want to help translating Busy to your native language, you can login here https://crowdin.com, find Busy project and choose your native language in the list. You can vote for the proposed translation or add your version of the translation for any line.
If you have not found your language on the list, please contact @fabien at Discord Chat https://discord.gg/hX2kR3V and he will make it available for translation. And before you start your work, you need to book the language for yourself. Only in this case you can count on the reward.
