Publicizing and Introducing steemit.com to the people of Nigeria
Introduction
Steemit.com is a great platform for everyone and most especially to people whose interested in blogging, vlogging and writing creative contents. Although steemit.com has gained a wide number of users since it gets started. I notice that a large number of people who might be interested in the platform are still unreachable. Nigeria is a country with a very large population of more than one billion people. Thus, my reason for targeting Nigeria to bring more people who might be interested in contributing to the steem blockchain. To accomplished this, I created a unique facebook page specifically for it. Here is the link to the facebook page used for this campaign.
Audience
Nigeria has a very large audience. This campaign is targeting over 500,000 people from Nigeria. The targeting audience is people from the age of 18 - 65+ years ( both genders). The audience includes people from the Central African Republic and Nigeria who are interested in creative writing, Visual art, bitcoin, cryptocurrency, songwriters, WordPress, photographers, storytellers etc.
Activity
I created a facebook page with the Name Learn steemit with Samuel Etim. I used Facebook ads to run an advert to reach this audience. I set the Location of the sponsor ads to the Central African Republic and Nigeria with people interested in blogging, Photography, cryptocurrency etc. I explained what steemit is all about, stating clearing reasons why they need to join the steemit blockchain. I included Links to which they can easily sign up and start contributing to the platform. A total amount of N1613 was used to run the ads on Facebook.
Results
The information is already reachable to a reasonable number of audience who are interested in Joining steemit. The post on the page has reached 3607 People and still counting. About 1.2K Likes, 16 comment and 11shares. Some People have sign up onsteemit from the link included in the post. Below are the screenshots of the Results;
