Hello everyone, I am sure most people reading this would be wondering why i titled it The Android APP Every Content Creator Should Have. Well, seat back and read through as i introduce to you what PDF files are, And the ultimate PDF Converter on play-store.

What Are .PDF files?

The imaging industry thought for a way to make document printing, sharing or reading so easy. So the file format .PDF came into existence.
PDF: simply stands for Portable Document Format. And it's a type of file that can not be modified while reading (read only). One of the awesome features of a PDF file is security. It's of high security level which enables password to be embedded during the creation of a PDF file so as to restrict unauthorized users from viewing it.

Introduction

Basically, The purpose of this project is to make an application that converts images of any format into a Pdf file. But as the development went on, Some other features were added into it which had made it the best application for content creator, Students, Business owners who create PDF files.

Images to PDF is a lightweight open source android application that converts images into a pdf file. The project owner refers to it as follows:

Features

During image to PDF conversion, it takes just few seconds to get it done due to the awesome tools/ feature embedded. The most amazing thing is, You don't even need an internet connection to perform any of the conversions. It's a stand alone application and doesn't contain any ads, There are no pro version or in-app purchases. You get the chance to process unlimited number of conversions.
I was amazed seeing how perfect these features are. There are different tools to create high quality Pdf. And they are:

A. Create PDF

1. Images To Pdf:

This option ease the steps needed to import images for conversion. You don't have to start searching for the images from your local folder. You're already provided with an option to select images from camera/gallery ( single/ multiple selection is allowed).

While creating pdf with Images To Pdf option, You also get other enhancing tools like:

2. Text To PDF:

This feature ought to be another great application on it's own. But the option is already included to be used within the app. Which allows users to simply select an already created text file which will be converted into a PDF file.
In this interface, they are enhancement options like:

• Font scale
• Font family
• Set page size
• Set password

3. QR & Barcodes:

This option allows users to create PDF files by scanning QR codes or by scanning Barcodes.

B. View PDFs

1. View PDF:

Viewing already created pdf files right from the app with the View PDF option ( Which means you don't have to exit the app then locating it via the file manager).

2. History:

This option displays the list of PDF files created in the past. It also include PDF created from splitting & merging.

C. Enhance Created PDFs

1. Add password

This is just an option to add an encryption to an already created pdf file.

2. Remove password

This is the process by which an encryption is removed from a pdf file with a password.

3. Rotate pages

With this option, you can rotate any pdf file in three different degrees (90°, 180°, 270°). And after a successful rotation, A new Pdf file is created with the value of degree attached to it's title. (It doesn't overwrite the original Pdf file).

• • Select the PDF you wish to rotate
• • Select rotate pages
• • Select angle of rotation. Then press Ok.
• • New rotated PDF file will wb crated.

4. Add watermarks

Add credit to every Pdf file file you create.

• • Select the PDF you wish to add watermark to.
• • Select add watermark.
• • Fill the required information. The information required are:
• • • ( Text, Text angle, Text color, Text font size, Font family and Style). Then press Ok.
• • New PDF with watermark will be created.

5. Add images

Don't get worried if you missed to include an image while creating you file. With this option, You are allowed to add any type of image on any part of the created Pdf.

D. Modify existing PDFs

Modify any of your created Pdf by merging multiple of them. Or split a single Pdf file in different pages. Also compress your PDF files.

E. More options

From this category, You get to remove pages, reorder pages extract images and convert pdf to images.

F. Settings

By clicking the settings button, you would be able to change the default value of image compression, page size, font size, font family, image scale type, storage location, master password and theme.

The master password is the password required by the app when encrypting or removing a password from a pdf file.
The theme button gives you options to change the preference of your app.

The image above shows when the Dark them/white theme is applied. These themes helps to care for the eye while using the application. The Dark them is meant to be applied during the night, While the white theme is meant for the daytime.
