Project Details

Node.js is:

An open-source, cross-platform JavaScript run-time environment that executes JavaScript code outside of a browser.

Node.js It is an open source execution environment for developing web applications. It is an environment in which you can run a program written in JavaScript.

What is it for?
Node.js lights in real-time web applications employing push technology over web sockets. Node.js allows having web applications with real-time, two-way connections, where both, the client and server can initiate communication, allowing them free data exchange. It can handle many concurrent connections at a time. It is built on Chrome’s V8 JavaScript engine and uses an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model that makes it lightweight and efficient. Node.js now plays a critical role in the technology stack of many high-profile companies who depend on its unique benefits.

What does Changelog mean?
According to Techopedia.com, changelog is a record of changes to a software project or other technology product. This type of record has its own format for various types of projects but is generally useful in showing when and why changes were made, and who made them.

A changelog plays a role in error control and debugging, software release and other project phases. Certain types of changelogs are maintained for various kinds of projects.

Part of the aim behind changelogs is that for larger projects, there are numerous people working on systems with different ideas about design and different kinds of awareness about standards and compliance. Thus, the more techniques are documented, the more people can work together.

While translating changelog, its content made references to the ways Node.js handles errors when processing a code.

How do I make a good changelog?

Guiding Principles

  1. Changelogs are for humans, not machines.
  2. There should be an entry for every single version.
  3. The same types of changes should be grouped.
  4. Versions and sections should be linkable.
  5. The latest version comes first.
  6. The release date of each version is displayed.
  7. Mention whether you follow Semantic Versioning.

Greetings @rositaumce,

I'm glad you are back with a new contribution!

  • Node.js is a very interesting project that contains many code values and terms related to computer science. Its difficulty relies on the fact that we must pay a lot of attention to the code in order to deliver the most accurate translation possible.

  • The overall presentation of your post is good, it is well written and formatted, includes all the basic details, useful examples and concepts.

  • You did a very good job with your translation. The vocabulary you used is appropriate for the project and for the Spanish language, just try to avoid typos and misstatements as much as possible in future contributions.

Keep up the good work :)
