Contribution to the Open Source Abilian SBE - Translated to Chinese Translation

The Abilian SBE's localization project is an open source project. So far, I am the only one who started translation for them. Only Chinese Traditional is translated and there are many opportunities for other people to participate in this open source project.

It is important that we pick projects that are open source to Translate.

Always read their description to make sure it is Open Source Project

Link Proof that Translation is 100% Done

Here is the public link to proof that I have done the entire translation for this project.

The following screen shot shows that the translation is done 100%

It is important that the blue line goes all the way to the end to 100%. Only when it gets to 100% is the translation completed.

As you translate in the process, the blue line moves along showing you the percentage of your translation.

Only My Chinese Traditional Translation is Done So Far

So far, I am the only one who has translated for this open source project. No one else have contributed to this project yet so there is a great demand in this open source project.

Proofs to Show Transltion from 0% to 100%

1. I began with 0 % for this Translation in Chinese Traditional

On the front page of the Open Source there, you see the languages that need translation.

Please note that I chose Chinesse Traditional which was at 0%.

This means that I started the translation from scratch.

2. The Translation began at 0%

The blue line shows that the project has not been translated before - at 0%

The message.pot needs translation. What you need to do is to click on that link to start the translation.

There are actually 3 Rounds to this Translation. Even when you finish the first round of complete Page 6 of 6, the translation is not finished yet. You need to come back to this page to click on the message.pot to go for the 2nd round of translation.

3. The 1st Round of Translation finishes at 100%

I did 6 pages of translation for this First Round. Even though all 6 pages are finished, the translation is not complete as you can see in the following screen shot.

4. The 2nd Round of Translation goes to 82%

The translation for the 2nd round again is 6 pages. So you move on to translate the 6 pages one by one again. But some translation is duplicate meaning that sentences you have translated already in the first round, you don't need to translate those sentences again.

The following screen shot shows the completion of this 2nd page of translation.

When this is completed turning all the orange bullets to green bullets, you can move on to the 3rd Round

5. The 3rd Round of Translation

The 3rd round of translation also requires 6 Pages of Translation. Again, you need to go through all the 6 pages. Some sentences are duplicated meaning that you have already translated those sentences in the first 2 rounds.

When all these 6 pages of the 3rd round are completed, then the translation is complete.

After the 3rd round of 6 Pages Translation, the blue line now has reached 100%. Only when it reaches 100% is your translation complete.

Time it took to do this translation

I started this translation last night and completed it today. Sometimes it is difficult to do a translation in one stretch. So what you want to do is to start the translation, leave it for a few hours, and come back to finish the translation the next day.

My suggestion to Translators: It is good to let the translation to sit overnight and come back to it the next day to finish it.

This project needs translators who speak their native language. There are 29 more languages that need translating.

So do consider translating this open source project to get this project go global.
