Contribute to Open Source Project: Translating DictionaryForMids / Calling for More Translators

Thanks to the Steemit Platform that @elear and the Utopian.io team that we can now contribute our expertise to the Open Source Projects, where we can translate many open source projects on the site Crowdin to move many projects forward using the Steemit site here.

My Contribution: Translated the DictionaryForMids from English to Hong Kong Chinese Traditional

DictionaryForMIDs - a free, open-source, multi-purpose dictionary for cell phones, PDAs and PCs

My Completed Translation - 100%

As you can see from the Screen shot, I highlighted in Yellow the Open Source Project

1. The Translation from English to HK Traditional Chinese
2. There are 3 parts to this translation.
3. Part 1 Translation is: Android App UI Text
4. Part 2 Translation is: App Store Description
5. Part 3 Translation: Short Description

As you can see, all 3 parts are translated with the blue line saying that it is 100% completed after my 3 hours of translation.

It is now waiting for approval.

Now, other Chinese translators will come in to proof read and make adjustments before the final revision goes out. So I invite chinese translators to proof read and approve so that the project can go forward for them.

They are actually in need of translators. There are tons of language that need translators.

I will walk you through the steps of how I contributed as a Translator so you know what to do.

1. Register with Crowdin

2. Get approved via email

3. Go in and see which Open Source Projects Need Translation.

My Project is: DictionaryForMids

Before Translation, the page looks like this:

-- Notice it says 0% completed for all 3 sections
-- You need to work on the translation for all 3 parts.
-- Each part you finish, the blue line will draw across the section to turn it to 100% completed, just like what you see on my first screen shot.

The Inside Translation Work Space looks like this.

Take note:
-- there are 5 pages
-- I am showing you the 1st page of the 5 pages
-- the left hand column is what you need to translate
-- the middle column is where you put your translation in there

You need to go through all 5 pages to complete the task

Once done, you will see the projects that you work on on your dashboard.

As you can see, that is my 1st Project contributing to Crowdin.
