This article is another contribution of mine into an open source website. As for this contribution, I will be giving a suggestion for the continuous development of Steemit.

Steemit is one of the well-known and most popular blogging website nowadays. Many people from different countries are hooked and taking part on the said platform. Many people also has been discovered by their talents, skills, knowledge, tutorials, etc. and somehow make friends, tag along or building harmonious relationship with others (not to mention they have different culture, language and nationality) through Steemit since it is a social media platform where everyone gets paid for creating and curating content. It leverages a robust digital points system (Steem) for digital rewards.

PROBLEM

As a concerned Steemian, I have observed that as of now, if we were going to take a look at it, when a Steemian is going to put a video on his/her posts on Steemit, uploading the said video for the post is quite hassle and without a doubt, would take some time. Right now, before a video can be used and can be seen in a post on Steemit, it must be uploaded on the YouTube first. For a Steemian to upload first the video on YouTube before he/she can use it in a post on Steemit causes much trouble and somehow quite annoying. It's like making a post of a Steemian so much late on his/her target time to post. Another problem will take place when time comes that the internet connection will suddenly get lost, a Steemian will try uploading the video again and then again, will take another span of time to finish uploading the said video.

Instead of making more than just one post in a day, it would take much time on just one post just because on that post, a Steemian wants to put a video and he/she can't post instantly especially if that Steemian has a slower internet connection while waiting for the video first to be uploaded on YouTube. To make it short and easier to interpret, " just by waiting for the video to be uploaded first before posting on Steemit could possibly make it a hassle for a Steemian since it will take quite a longer time to make a post in which, it is not desirable or probably unreasonable to think of. "

SUGGESTION (Proposed Solution)

Since uploading videos on YouTube takes time especially if the connection of the internet is quite slower or suddenly gets lost, why not make a post containing a video which cab be directly uploaded to Steemit. In short, " instead of taking too much time and effort to make a post containing a video which is through YouTube, why not upload it directly to Steemit and just wait for it to finish uploading. "

Speaking of which, how about making the set up below and make it possible to upload a video directly to Steemit.

Another thing is while uploading a video, it will be much better if a Steemian can Pause or Resume the video that he/she is uploading. It is for example, if the internet connection on the place where a Steemian is posting is slow and he/she wants to transfer into another place where he/she can get a better/stronger signal, then he/she can just Pause* and Resume the uploading by the time that he/she is already on the place where he/she got the required signal of internet connection.

In that way, somehow the time of posting will not take that much longer and also, would make things easier when posting containing a video. would also make the posting hassle free.

BENEFITS

1. Uploading/Putting of videos on Steemit posts will become more easier, faster and flexible.
2. Hassle free for Steemians in posting articles containing videos.
3. Maximizes postings of articles and minimizes longer span of time on posting articles especially those posts containing videos for tutorials, showing recorded talents, etc.
4. Makes Steemian users more comfortable and lessen their worries on the possibilities that their delayed posts will be disregarded especially those posts containing videos.
5. Another development on Steemit and milestone to be achieved by the Steemit management.
