I designed a logo about the messaging inspired by the old logo of the software.
- the logo was designed from the first letter of the project.
- the message symbol and the first letter of the software were combined.
- more minimalist and recognizable

Thank you for the contribution but there are some flaws on your logo design need to be corrected.
Every thicknesses of letters are different. Especially "g" thicker then others and it it does not seem to have been made intentionally.
On logotype version, "a" letter is repetitive element. In my opinion it have to be in same form to understand your logo design better.
There is a mistake on your single color .PNG format of your logo design. White parts should be cut off and have to be transparent.

I hesitated because there would be more spaces between the letters.
