This is my first post that I am posting through Steemit because of whole Utopian Hack thing. I have a suggestion revolving in my mind regarding this and hopefully you will find it helpful. This post is gonna be a little bit short as it is only a suggestion.
Proposal
The Utopian had posted a post that @utopian-io now contributions are welcome and it has given specific tags for each post and that we can also use Steemit and Busy.org now to post on Utopian!
Other than that, in that post Utopian also tells about different templates to use for different type of post.
The above things makes it easy it easier for user to contribute to Utopian. I have a suggestion to make more easy for users to contribute. For every category there should be a so-called minimum words as a guideline. So the new users will know what should be the size of the contribution. Many new users don't know in how much depth they should go in their tutorials and this will also reduce the amount of low quality contributions in categories like tutorials because people will know upfront that posts below the minimum words will be rejected which will lead users to create high quality contributions.

I have created a mockup to explain my suggestion further. Of course you can change the minimum words but adding it will help alot.
Benefits
The benefit of this suggestion is that if a new user comes to utopian, they can get all the necessary information from the @utopian-io account but because there are no minimum words listed they often post low quality contribution. It will also reduce the work of moderators because of less low quality contributions.

STOPHello @qbee, from the post, I was able to understand that you are suggesting that there should be a way users will know the limit of words.
There is no word limits when making contributions.
