Addition of automatic generated name & OCR in 'open note scanner'

Introduction

The open note scanner app is the open source app, that enables you to scan the documents in different formats and different styles.

Components

My suggestion is primarily linked with the addition of the following two features in the 'open source app'

1. Automatic generated name.
2. OCR (Optical character recognition).

Proposal description

●Automated generated name

Here I want to add the features of the automatic generated name which will make the user able to get the scanned documents in corrected order. Moreover, the format of the generated name should be like this

Document number,date,time.

Date and time will be more important when the order of documents is considered. Also, the user will not get confused, which document, when I have scanned.

● OCR (Optical character recognition)

Optical character recognition is according to my best feature to be implemented here. It will make the user, able to highlight, underline the scanned text according to the need of the hour. Morover with OCR, the user will be able to play with the text he/she has copied.

I will make it more clear in mockup too.

Mockups/Examples

I will mention the mocks ups separately for the above-mentioned two different features.

The format of this feature should be like this.....

● OCR (Optical character recognition)

After selecting the OCR option, you can do, what you want to do, to the scanned text.

Benefits

In case, if these features are implemented it surely help mankind to serve them better

●Automated generated name will benefit in a great way to get the corrected order of scanned documents. Also, the user can check the date and time of document just checking the name of
the scanned document, without wasting time in looking at the details of the scanned document.

● OCR will make the user able to highlight, underline the text of the document. Sometimes the user has important information just in two or three lines, and he needs to read out the whole document for the three lines. Of course, they will certainly get rid of this problem in case it is implemented.
