Components
Currency is an application that helps in currency conversion, according to their current rates. This suggested feature will be at the home section of the application.
Proposal
Currency application is an easy to use app, I suggest that currency calculator and rate notification should be added to the application.
Mockups / Examples
Here is how the currency calculator section should look like
The calculator will be at the conversion section as shown above, it will be used to make calculations, and auto conversion of the calculated currency.
Here is how the rate notification button should look like
The notification button in the image above indicate Activated currency rate notification, to deactivate it, the user will click on the button again, below is how it will look like.
Benefits
The calculator will help user in getting direct calculation of the currency exchange rate. This would help in having expenses calculated directly on the application and knowing what's left in other currency. The currency rate notification button, this will help getting users notified on the new rates of the currency and alert them on the new currency exchange rate, this will enable users interact more with the application, as notifications will give more reminder and updates about the currency updates.

Openthe app Select anycurrency, input anyfigurein the available space at the front of the selected currency and it will be converted to all other available currencies within the application automatically.Below is a gif file to show the function
I would love to see some improvement in your future contribution, i advice you have broad knowledge of what any project is meant for before suggesting any feature on them.
Apparently you did not check properly to know how the application works before you suggestion adding calculator on it.
Anyways Notification feature seems to have little benefit for users and can improve the functionality of the application a bit.
