Let me give you a brief overview of this design. Vue-aplayer it´s an OpenSource project that is an HTML5 music player for Vue.js. So I decided to give my contribution designing this logo for this project, a project owned byMoePlayer
For this project I propose a logo for the owner and he accepted and added it to the README file of the project. The owner just said since this project is a component of Vue.js, the logo should be able to simultaneously highlight Vue.js and music player combined, also give me some logos to get inspired.
For the graphic concept I use as inspiration the images of the logos that the owner give me, I also used the letter V of Vue and a player button as requested. For the colors I used the colors that the owner requested
I chose Montserrat SemiBold as a font because it fits well with the logo.

• Vue-aplayer did not have logo before, the brand new logo bring new identity to this project;
• It´s modern and easy to remember;
• Great monochromatic versions;
• The logo fills all the owner's requests;
• The owner was very pleased with the design and it is already merged in the master code of the repository and in the readme file.

The logo didn't work well in monochrome version. the small triangle appears bigger in monochrome version
once again, this is not a mobile app, yet you showed a mockup as it is a mobile app.
I notice you contribute quite often, i suggest you to put more effort on your designs, make it more meaningfull and memorable. In this design basically it was just two triangles with a bunch of random width stripes on top of it.

I did what the onwer ask me to do, the background triangle is like the vue.js logo as the owner request, but I add the stripes to make it not look to similar, and she ask me to put the player button. Thats it.
