Step By Step Tutorial for how to use Etar Calendar

Etar is an open source application which is available on the Google playstore. It is material designed open source calendar for everyone with some key features provided as under.

Features:

★ Uses Android calendar sync. Works with Google Calendar, Exchange..etc.

★ Dark & Light Theme.
★ Free, open source and absolutely no Ads.
★ Agenda widget.
★ Support sharing calendars via ics and the ability to import/export from sdcard.

Let's start the tutorial for how to get this application and how to use it.

Search for Etar Calendar on the Google Playstore and click on the viewed application as shown above.

Now after you searched for the application you have to download the application on your device for that click on the install button as shown above.

After you are done with the installation of the application for further access of the application you have to open the application by clicking on open as shown above.

This application will ask for the permission of using the google calendar, that is it will sync with it. Hit the allow button for further access.

You should now allow the application to allow the access to the photos, videos etc. for that just click the allow button.
Finally the Etar calendar is opened after granting permissions, Hit the above shown '+' button for the addition of event on amy date, as shown above i will create an event on 23rd of December.
Before creating events we must allow this application to be synced with our contacts so allow it by clicking on the allow option as shown above.

For the creation of event we need to write down the event name, location, timing, its description and guests etc. Fill in the above boxes as per the event planned.

You have to fill the above boxes as i have as per the event which has to be recorded. You can hit the 'done' option when you are done.

As you can see above the event has been created for 23rd of December between time period 8pm to 10pm and a reminder has been set for the day and time.

This application is showing us events by default too, 25th December it has been shown its Christmas, we can plan an event on the festive date.

The event has been created for partying on 25th of December the Christmas Day and the reminder has been set too.

Hit the top right button for more options as shown in the above picture.

Here are the few options, Go To, Search And Refresh, we can jump to any date using Go to Option and search for any dates or days or refresh the calendar.

You have to click on the Go to option to jump to any date for details or events, as shown above just change the month year and the day to jump to desired date.

For searching any date or event you can click on the search option, and put the details in the searcg box or even use the audio search for searching as well .

Click on the top left button to change how the calendar is set differently.

The calendar can be set day wise, weekly or even monthly as per the requirements or even as per the agenda followed.

This calendar is usually set on default on weekly basis, however you may or may not change it, weekly calendar is shown above by clicking week option.

If you want to keep it day wise for recording events on daily basis you have to click the day option and it will be set, above is the day wise calendar.

For setting the calendars monthly just click on the month option and the calendar will be set on monthly mode as shown above.

Agenda calendar is another option for the calendar, it will give you the dates of events only, be it recorded events or the events which are there by default.

The last option is the settings of the application, just go to the settings by clicking on the settings option.

We can here change the look of our application by changing the theme frolight to dark or vice versa, we can change how the calendar is set by default that is daily weekly or monthly. We can hide the events we have declined, we can change the days of week and when it starts here.

We have settings for notifications and reminders , we can choose whether we want to be notified or not, we can the default tone of reminder and snooze time as well. We have options for pop up notifications and quick responses too.
