• About Project

I have started a new project on steemit API . I have selected some uncommon and valuable things.

After a long time researching on steemit api, I guess there are some api missing. So I have decided to build those missing api.

STEEMTOOLS API

I have already created one API for steem developers. It shows total words & characters used in any steemit blog post.
API url is : http://api.steemtools.cf/get_blog_count

The API has one parameter. It is url. When a users use this API, they will get results in JSON.
For example,

If you want the total number of words used in https://steemit.com/utopian-io/@nawab69/steemjs-steemconnect-php-json-withdraw-vesting-routes-remove-tools-part-4-and-live-open-source-website simply open your browser and go to the API url.
http://api.steemtools.cf/get_blog_count?url=https://steemit.com/utopian-io/@nawab69/steemjs-steemconnect-php-json-withdraw-vesting-routes-remove-tools-part-4-and-live-open-source-website
The browser will show you the result below,

Here "total_words" means the number of words used in the blog. "total_char" means the number of characters used in the blog.

I have used php language in this project. I have also used JSON decoder and encoder to display result.

• Roadmap

I want to create more uncommon API to help steemit developers.

I created a php file to run this API. I have uploaded it to my github repository.
