MyDiceBot

  • https://mydicebot.github.io
  • MyDiceBot is World #1 Cross-Platform Dicing Bot.
  • Multiple platforms are supported, including Windows, Mac, Linux, and Web.
  • Multiple programming languages are supported such as Lua.

Download

Launch

  • Different execution methods on different platforms.

    • Linux (Open Terminal)

      chmod +x mydicebot-linux

      ./mydicebot-linux

    • Mac (Open Terminal)

      chmod +x mydicebot-macos

      ./mydicebot-macos

    • Windows (Open Command Prompt)

      mydicebot-win.exe

  • It will open your default Web Browser locally.

  • Choose MagicDice, Input Steemit Id (eg. @mydicebot) and Active Key, then Login.

  • Steemit Id and Active Key are in your local physical machine's memory, they are safe.

  • Bet and WIN.

Startup Options

  • -port (port is 3000 by default)

    mydicebot-win.exe -port 12345

Exit

  • Ctrl+C to interrupt the program in console/terminal.
  • Steemit Id and Active key are in your local physical machine's memory, so they are all cleared after program exit.

    Thank you for your contribution.

    • This strikes us more as a tutorial than a blog post.
    • It is nice to see the owner writing tutorials about their projects on Steem too, although the content of your post is mostly a replica of what you have on the official github repo.
    • I liked the fact that you customized the content a bit to reflect using Steem account name.
    • Generally for tutorials we also look for more extensive work, not just basic setup instructions. Expanding on those or creating more useful content for your users as tutorials would help on that end.
