Utopia is a platform that is used to contribute to and reward open source projects. By open source i mean projects that has their source code accessible and by source code i mean the programs, instructions, the rules that a project follows to perform its duties.

With uptopia.io, you get rewarded by the utopian bot through steemit when you contribute to the open source project.

Their are different ways you can contribute to open source project which include translation of the language say from english to arabic etc, suggestions, bug hunting etc.

When you make any contribution to open source project through utopia, your contribution will be submitted to the miderators (mod) who checks to see if your contribution is necessary or not. If it's necessary, your contribution will be approved and the utopian bot will visit your contribution with an upvote on steemit there by giving you sbd and steem power, but if your contribution is rejected, bot will not visit your contribution.
