After searching on github and I found QS Video Player. this project didn't have a logo and then I'm trying to propose a logo to the PO.
Android Video player, architecture design, excellent features, support for multiple decoding, support for setting scale, floating window, mute, etc.
Benefits / Improvements
The concept of this logo idea is Play icon and letter Q. I combine these two concepts to make it a logo. The project owner chosen logo with the orange color. All files are delivered in vector format and in different dimensions. I created this logo easy to remember, minimalist and modern.

To design it i used CorelDRAW X7.

It is good to see that the project owner satisfied with your first proposal but in my opinion the logo design looks generic. I think it should be more characteristic and it should has stronger relation with the project.
I think the gray background reduces effect of the logo design. I suggest to avoid that. Also, using dark tones of orange with gray is not a good decision. You can see the difference when you compare with the other logo designs on below.
