Steem is a blockchain-based social media platform where anyone can earn rewards.
This is the newer version of Steem White Paper which was updated in August 2017. It provides a technical explanation of how the Steem Blockchain works.

It aims to explain the origin and purpose of the Steem platform and details about how it tries to split the rewards in the fairest way among its users, creating the world's first free-market, cryptocurrency-based, social media economy.
