Promoting Steemit to the Arab World - Facebook Ads Updates - Jan 10 2018
I wanted to share with you another update on our efforts to promote Steemit to the Arab World via our @arabsteem project.
Facebook Page
We've had more growth onto our facebook page and its activity, whereby our posts are getting more exposure, and the number of likes and activity is growing slowly yet steadily.
On this week, our page posts have reached over 13,000, with 186 engagement with the page having 55 likes at the moment. Those numbers are essentially due to the effects of our steemit online promotion..more on that below.
Our posts were focused on sharing some information pertaining steemit, as a means to invite to join the platform.
Discord Channel
Our discord channel is also attracting more members, we now have 112 members there. We are providing support to all new Arabs invited and joining steemit platform, along with daily upvote and a daily curation digest of the best articles.

Facebook Ads
Now to our key effort in promoting steemit, our facebook ads !
Our facebook ad has been running for 9 days now, and today we got to almost 24k impressions!
Our stats as of this moment stand at 23,991 impressions and 254 actions (out of which 233 are clicks directing towards steemit.com)
Our ad is again targeted towards following Arab countries: United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco and Saudi Arabia
Our focus is on people with interests in blogging, crypto, bitcoin, facebook, and communities
In terms of demographics, the ladies are getting more interested in learning about steemit, with their stats growing to 24% (from 20% on the last update)
In terms of countries, Algeria is still leading with 96% of audience (which has grown from 94.5% last time). Engagement from Morocco, Egypt, and Iraq is still minimal
We will continue our work on promoting steemit, our facebook ad will remain active, and we will keep you posted on further results.
