Translation Overview

This is my first contribution related on the OroCommerce project and I think is awesome working on it because there are similarities with my work, since part of my business, consists of processing orders for customers, taking care of shipping addresses, shipping methods and also we have an e-commerce site dedicated to customers who use to place their orders.
I started with the first strings following the order of the files listed on crowdin although there was already a small part translated a few months ago. I immediately became familiar with the technical terminology, thanks also to the familiarity explained above.
The files I managed to cover in this first round of translations are:

  • OroAlternativeCheckoutBundle
  • OroApruveBundle
  • OroAuthorizeNetBundle
  • OroCatalogBundle
  • OroCheckoutBundle

I found easy strings, with single words, short sentences and some of them of medium/long length. I have to say that many words ended up repeating themselves and that is why I made sure to overshoot the 1000 words mark by a safety margin.

Hi @mcassani.

Congratulations on having started a new project! I’m glad you’re familiar with the terminology, which I’m sure will definitely help you in working faster and more efficiently. As for my part, I don’t work with e-commerce, but I shop online quite a lot, so I should be able to keep up.

Unfortunately, I haven’t yet been accepted into the OroCommerce project on Crowdin and, therefore, my review is based only on what I can infer of your work as an outsider.
The translated strings all make sense and are grammatically and syntactically correct. I also see that you’ve used plants of capital lettering, which I assume correctly mirrors the original strings.
You are certainly doing a good job, so feel free to continue with your work on this project. I will update this review once I’ve had a chance to properly go over the translated strings.
