Update notification from app
Components
OI File manager allows you to browse your sd card and create directories, rename, copy and delete files. It is ad free and doesn't require permission. The app doesn't have an update notification.
Proposal
There are people who are waiting for an update of this app but they sometimes dunno that a new update has been released. This feature will serve as a reminder to the users who don't want to go through stress just to be checking everyday for a new update.
Mockups / Examples
This is an example from the chrome browser app 
tried fixing the feature under the about option but that didn't look like a right place for the update featured so i decided to put it right under the bookmark option.
Once you click on that option, it will redirect you to where the new version can be downloaded.
Benefits
The main benefit of this feature is that it informs/notifies the user of a new update which is now available for download. With this feature more people will get to use the newly updated app because of the notification they will get on their mobile device whenever there is an update.
