My Steemit Friends Power Down Ranking Table Update: Display Withdrawl Amount in USD, Search User in both modes, Change default mode.

Below are the new features added to the Power Down Ranking Table, accessible at http://mysteemitfriends.online/powerdown.php

New Feature 1

You can see in the ranking table that there is now an extra column called "Withdrawl Amount (USD)". This is calculated from the latest conversion rate for Steem to USD from CoinMarketCap.com, updated automatically.

Because of the added column, there is now a link to scroll down from the top of the page to see the table (it can no longer fit within half of the width of the page as it did previously).

New Feature 2

The table now loads the "All Users" mode by default. If you access this table from the navigation bar from any page (including the index page), it will load the table with all users.

New Feature 3

The Search Username for Ranking feature will now work for both modes. If you want to switch modes, make sure you select the option you want and click Refresh to get into that mode first. If accessed from the main page, it will automatically search the ranking for the "All Users" mode.

How did you implement it/them?

Relevant commit and other commits on 19th February 2018.

update_CMC_steem_price.php: Retrieve the latest steem price via the coinmarketcap.com API, using PHP's cURL feature. This stores the query result into a text file and is scheduled to run periodically to update the value in the text file. The text file is later loaded by the Power Down ranking script.

powerdown.php: Changed the PHP if statement to set the default option to All Users. Inserted a new column in the result table to multiply the amount of SP withdrawn by the value of Steem in USD retrieved from the text file updated from the coinmarketcap API. Edited the code for the username search box to make sure it works under both modes.

get_powerdown_rank.php: Added SQL query for querying the database with the username provided under the All Users mode. Used PHP if statements to decide which SQL query to execute and return the correct result depending on which query was executed.
