addition of status /stories bar on telegram

Telegram just like facebook, whatsapp and messenger is a mobile application which allows its users to send and receive messages, upload pictures and post valuable articles.
PROBLEM OBSERVED
I have observed that telegram lacks space or bar for stories and statuses just like the already mentioned apps.

SUGGESTION
my suggestion is for the provision or addition of space or bar for stories and statuses bar features on telegram.
BENEFIT
if this feature is enabled, it allow users go through a friend's day without a series of long chats just to ask how their day was just like in the apps mentioned above.

CONCLUSION
when this feature is added, it will serve time that would have been used for doing other activities online than on enquiring about the day.
