Creating wye-source circuit for lighting load using mobile everycircuit simulator

in #utopian-io7 years ago

Hi steemians, today I'll be making a tutorial using an application: Everycircuit.
For starters you can download it from playstore.
This mobile app is useful for simple circuit simulator for example for university lab experiment for checking results.

First create a new template for your desired circuit. Click the icon > Create new circuit

then, click the AC Source at the upper indicator for our Alternating Current supply.

to actualize the simulation, I changed the parameters to 220v, 60 Hz source. As it is the standard here in the Philippines.

for the line resistances (the resistance of the wires), assuming it is 200 milli ohms or 0.02 ohms.
click > the resistor>> change it to your desired resistance.

now, click a lighting load>change it to your desired voltage requirements>put it in a wye connection.

then, connect the wye load to the wye source and start the simulation.
to see the sinusoidal wave and the voltage generated by the three phase source, click the wire>highlight it.

now the the current entering the load > click the load itself>then highlight it.
