This report is about my translation work of the ACTIFIT App.

Description
ACTIFIT is a cool App to get rewarded with the first Smart Media Tokens on the Steem Blockchain, called AFIT simply by tracking your daily physical activity. Besides this, you can earn Steem by Upvotes, when you post your daily activity with a minimum amount of 5.000 activity points to the Steem Blockchain. Activities can be the classical sportive activities like jogging or walking, but also when you were cleaning your house (which can be quite exhausting). ;)
This is not only a creative dapp to use the Steem ecosystem in a smart way, but also an innovative connection between well-known activity trackers like Fitbit and the crypto world.
My work
The Source language is English and I translated it into German. From the 2338 words of the project, I translated so far in this step 1269 words which are around 50% of the text.
Since this is not a plain text but fragmentary phrases for buttons, descriptions, error notes etc., the challenge here is to find a consistent wording. I had to go several times through my own translations to find the correct words in relation to the context. I downloaded the Actifit App and partially tested it (without logging in), to understand the conceptional background of some phrases.
Besides this, I decided to choose the polite form of address (in German: "Sie" instead of "Du") for this is an app to be used by a wider target group of all ages and social backgrounds.
