Steemplus v2.15 Incorrect total post count is displayed on profile banner of steemit

Expected behavior
Steemplus extension modifies and adds some features on the steemit front-end, updates of these features are conveyed to users by a toast message after the update occurred. Since there was no information about tweaking the number of total posts count, I expected to see the accurate information of the total posts I've made which is displayed on my profile banner.
Actual behavior
With the steemplus extension enabled, total post count on my profile banner shows 417 which is a huge contrast to 874 shown on http://steemd.com/@kodeblacc
Initially this was perceived to be an issue only on my profile but checking out other profiles the issue persists. After making another post, total post count still didn't move from 417
How to reproduce
- install steemplus extension from here
- activate extension
- login to steemit
- check total posts count
Test Enviroment
- Software version: Steemplus v 2.15
- Browser: Google Chrome v 66.0.3359.181
- Operating system: Windows 7 Ultimate

SteemPlus only counts the number of posts, as opposed to Stf eemit showing the number of posts, comments (and even deleted posts/comments).
If you would still rather have the original number you can disable this feature on the parameters.
As for the number not changing after a new post, it can be explained by a small latency on SteemSQL, usually of a few seconds but that can get up to a few minutes when things go wrong.
This has been for days tho. I just took note of it yesterday.
My post count has been on 417 while steemplus is active.
Is steemplus not compatible with SteemSQL because any issue that comes with steemplus is always redirected to SteemSQL.
When the steemplus extension is inactive everything works perfectly. @stoodkev
Hello @kodeblacc, Thank you for this report.
From my observation, this is not a bug but rather a feature.
As you might have already know, steemit counts both comments, replies and post all together. Meanwhile, steemplus only counts the blogpost you made directly excluding all the comments and replies you ever made.
Thanks to the PO for making out time to reply this report here to clarify.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the post count feature, you can always disable it and have post count displayed by steemit itself.
