YouTube should be able to sync the number of views on a video that has been posted on steemit.
I have been on steemit for a while and recently I found out that I can actually share my YouTube videos on steemit by simply copying the link and pasting in the create post space on steemit.
My plans were to increase the number of views on my YouTube videos via steemit. I was very disappointed when I checked my Youtube account a few days back and saw that, despite the fact that my videos had multiple views on steemit, it didn't reflect on YouTube.
THE OPENMIC CONTEST
The openmic presents musicians the opportunity to showcase their talents to the steemit community, here you have to upload your video on Youtube and paste the link on Steemit.
below are images showing my concerns:

Now, this particular one had a lot of positive reviews from those who watched the video, via steemit
still it had no views
Proposal
When you load a video which was pasted from YouTube on steemit, it takes a while and then eventually opens the YouTube video via steemit....
Since it loads the actual YouTube video, It would be better if these views can actually be recorded on YouTube, because it is a fantastic way to promote videos and this will in turn increase traffic on both STEEMIT and YouTube.
Benefits
This will really improve the number of people on the steemit community and also add value to the community. Most videos on steemit get over 100views in a single day, this could literary make any artists day.
**THIS WAS MY OBSERVATION AND I WILL REALLY LOVE TO SEE IT IMPLEMENTED AS THIS WOULD MAKE MY STEEMIT EXPERIENCE WORTHWHILE.

I must say, it would have been awesome to see an increase in the number of views.
