Activated QueryJane (beta) version

Hi there,

After four months of ideation and development, I can bring QueryJane beta repository to the public.

What is QueryJane?

QueryJane is a web application developed with Django that allows to connect with companies and experts in different sectors of the cannabis industry.

This application allows to classify companies and experts of the cannabis industry in different categories in order to establish commercial and professional relationships and boost the economic growth of the industry.

Users can register in the application and upload their professional profile or register their companies. To facilitate the classification of professional profiles and companies, users can select some of the following categories:

• Veterinary Medicine.
• Medical.
• Research.
• Extraction.
• Legal advice.
• Distribution.
• Dispensary.
• Cultivation.
• Business.
• Construction.
• Hemp.
• Hydroponics.
• Advertising.
• Transportation.
• Laboratory.
• Social media.
• Customer service.
• Security.
• Sales & Marketing.
• IT.
• Management.
• Edible.

Companies can be found by location and category.

The legalization of the medicinal and industrial use of cannabis in many countries is opening new doors to an industry that could generate great economic growth and new opportunities for entrepreneurship. I want to present QueryJane as a platform that allows creating a network that brings together all the active agents in the industry, encouraging collective growth and avoiding the centralization of the markets giving the same visualization opportunity to all companies in the sector.

QueryJane is aimed at specifically boosting the growth of cannabis industry, but this source code can be easily adjusted to almost any industry sector.

You can see the beta version live here. There is a lot of things to do and a lot of work ahead. I will be working to create the best application to boost the legal cannabis economy and I want to invite all interested people to contribute, suggest and collaborate in the growth and improvement of the application.
