Suggestion for the inclusion of a notification icon on the main page of steemit
COMPONENTS
I have been on the steemit platform for about a month now and i have noticed that your followers actually see your post also they are a community for you, and the increase or decrease in followers also shows how much good content you have been giving out on steemit. But while you are on the main page you cannot know how many persons just followed you.
PROPOSAL
Suggestion for the inclusion of a notification icon on the main page when you log in to your account to show number of new followers.

BENEFITS
** This will enable steemit users know when they have been followed.
** This will make the steemit platform much more exciting for newbies as the notification gives a sense of acceptance.
** This will enable a steemit user know instantly that he has been followed no matter what post he is reading, and does not have to go to BLOG to check.
