Thank you, I can confirm this is a potential problem. I thought all comments permlink start with re so the question is how do you get the comment without re in the first place?

You can set any permlink for replies as long as
parent_authorandparent_perlinkpoint to the according parent. See the example comment for code how to achieve that with steem-python.Ok, i see, only programatically. luckily the comments are following re- patterns if you are using busy.org or steemit.com
