SimulIDE Development | Suggetion to add Pan tool on SimulIDE

Currently, SimlulIDE users can only use the arrow keys to navigate the app. A pan-like tool in the app only allows to move circuit component but not the work space itself. So, I suggest adding a Pan tool on SimulIDE

Proposal

The suggested includes the following:

• A Pan tool button on the main toolbar of SimulIDE; and,
• Cursor change to a hand icon when this pan tool is clicked, allowing a freely navigation on the SimulIDE work space.

If suggested feature is added on the SimulIDE, the following will be the expected benefits to be enjoyed by the user of this app.

1. Users can now navigate smoothly when it opt to zoom the circuit.
2. Users have an option to not use the arrow keys when navigating in the work space.
3. This is also beneficial when checking proper connection and termination in schematics that the users have created.
