Introduction
My name is Ebixy Ebi Laffin and i have a page on Facebook where i promote open source applications.
API stands for Application Programming Interface and it is used for building software. API helps the programmer to create access to web based systems, database, operating system among a host of others.

Statistics available shows that Africa has among the lowest number of developers in the world, there is a need to create more awareness about available resources especially with the drive for open source application and that was why i choose South Africa
I targeted users with interest in web development, software development and computer programming. Their job titles / field of study must also match web developer, software developer or programmer.

Campaign Results & Summary
As is common with most Facebook ads when targeted towards STEM field, there is more male penetration than female in such fields. The majority of the age bracket reached was between 25 and 40 years old.

Hi,
As usual with your campaigns, you achieved the requisite number of clicks. But - also as usual - I have some issues.
You say your motivation here was to create more awareness of open source in Africa, due to the continent having relatively few developers. This is an admirable motive. But you chose South Africa, the country with the most coders in the continent, the strongest economy in the continent, and the highest percentage of people online in the continent. I'm not saying SA doesn't need the boost. My research has shown that it does have a developer shortage. It's just that it's less dire than in other African nations.
My next issue is your ad copy. It is literally the same exact text from the Strapi website - the same text that's visible in your ad's preview of the site. We expect original copy.
You say you had more clicks from men than women, and that the most active age bracket was between 25 and 40. None of this data is available in your ad report.
Finally, when it comes to targeting, you say your goal is to increase awareness due to the low number of developers, but you're only targeting people whose job titles and/or field of study are web developer, software developer or programmer. Targeting people with an interest in these fields who do not already work and/or study in them would be harder, but would be more in line with your stated goal.
