Components

This software has the following features:

• Browse top stories, best, newest, show HN, ask HN, jobs & user profiles
• Submit story, comment & vote, multiple HN accounts supported
• Catch up with best stories from past day, week, month or year
• Search, share stories, save for offline reading

Flexible reading options:

• Multiple themes, adjustable font & text size
• Colour-coded, collapsible comments thread
• Readability mode/external browser options

Proposal

I would like to suggest the following:

• To ENABLE a direct zoom in and zoom out in every page of the app that will automatically adjust the text to fit the screen. In other words, the page can be directly zoom in or zoom out by using two fingers sliding inward for zoom out and sliding outward for zoom in. While zooming, the content will automatically be wrap or so called a wrap text command that will fit the screen.

Benefits

The benefits once my proposal for the components/parts/sections of the software will be implemented and solved:

• The benefit of my suggestion is that when there is a direct or automatic maneuver of zooming command, users will find it hassle free and fast when reading documents specifically if it is urgent. Just like my example it will be better if the moment you zoom in a content, its fitting will also adjust.
• I believe this will be the fastest zooming command if approved. Users wont need to slide to the left or right just to read the rest of the documents because all contents or texts are already zoomed in and fitted in the screen.
• The users will also be able to adjust the size of the text according to his/her need/requirement/desire in an easy way and not limited.
