SteemMakers' website now has pagination

Pagination

The last feature for the site's pre-alpha has been implemented. Before this the site only showed the 10 most recent entries. There was no way of checking the older entries, not really what we had in mind as the end goal.

Say hello to pagination. All content can be discovered using a toolbar at the bottom of the page. An animation says more than a thousand words:

The feature was completely implemented in php. It took some time because of my limited experience but funny enough I spent a lot of time on the styling, which I didn't expect for this feature. I was really struggling to get the toolbar centered and in the end even resided to asking a question on stackoverflow.

Bugs fixed

Some minor bugs were fixed as well. One of them reported on Utopian by wieske here. Keep 'em coming if you see them.

Next steps

This was the last big hurdle for this pre-alpha version. Now that the content is discoverable we can spend more time on the actual curation and focus more on the content. We are working on a first set of guidelines and then we will make some announcements, requests for help and input, a mini roadmap, ...
