Bluestacks App Player 3.52.66.1905 incompatibility issue with Steepshot
Expected behavior
Bluestacks App Player is a free program which allows users to run Android apps on their Windows PC and gives a virtual Android tablet on desktop. Installing an app from the Google Play on Bluestacks was as easy as A B C until recently when I started noticing some compatibility problems related to the Bluestacks 3 version on my PC. Recently, after many turns trying to install Steepshot on Bluestacks 3, there have been consistent troubleshooting issue making it impossible to install Steepshot app.
Actual behavior
After downloading Steepshot from Google Play on Bluestacks 3, a notification pops up just like every other android or smart phone with the phrase "Installing steepshot." This is shortly followed with the caption "Can't install app"
How to reproduce
- Open the Bluestacks App and click on the My Apps
- Under the My Apps click on System app to access the Google Play
- In the Google Play search steepshot app
- After searching for steepshot app, proceed to download it
