tl;dr. I don't think sharing a post across social media sites makes some significant changes to your earnings, unless you have a massive following and/or you are doing affiliate marketing.
It's not about earning (if I was here for money I would have quit for a long time already!) : it's about Steem promotion ! Bring more people here = steem price will increase. See the logic ?
