Steemit was originally founded by Ned Scott and Daniel Larimer in early 2016. It uses its own Blockchain to offer its users a unique experience: One can upvote posts and comments and get rewarded for being upvoted with cryptocurrencies called Steem and Steem Dollars. Unlike Facebook, Instagram and Co. Steemit rewards its users for creating unique and high-quality content. Steemit provides a working ecosystem for everyone who likes to write stories, take interesting photos or just creates content. Steemit is a decentralized world where the community decides which articles are worth to be seen. Contribution Specifications

Until now Steemit has already been translated into roughly 15 languages on Crowdin. I wanted to make Steemit available in a sixteenth language which turned out to be German. This is a big honor for me, as Steemit is still one of the most used applications to interact with the Steem Blockchain. In my translation work I tried to keep in view the originality of the Steem Blockchain and its terms to the best of my knowledge. Some of the terms required a certain amount of consideration in order to transfer the spirit of Steemit into the German version. This is the third article out of four regarding my translation work for Steemit. For the third part I did a total of 149 translations for Steemit on Crowdin.
