There was no task request made for this contribution. I offered to engage in copywriting services for the project. This request was made via a public issue on Github.

Overview

Knacksteem is a dApp on the steem blockchain. The platform seeks to reward skillful, creative, and talented individuals on the steem blockchain, and also try out to reach out to people offline. The project is still under development, although it is stable for use. The project underwent some updates which greatly impacts user experience. However, end users may not know of these updates, hence the need to inform them via an announcement on the project's official blog.
The task of creating this announcement content was what I engaged in.

Actual content

The content I created, like I already in the overview, is an announcement post. The major point of the post was to inform community members of updates that have been done on the platform. Furthermore, other topics were included in the content. They include;

• Brief information of future updates
• Re-iteration of what the Knakcsteem platform is trying to achieve. This can also be classified as the project's objectives.

The essence of those two additional points is to keep existing users engaged in the project and also try to influence other people to become part of the project. There were other points in the content which were also necessary.

Additional information

The content creation was a collaborative effort between me and the project owner. The project owner provided me with information of all the updates that were implemented. Furthermore, he provided assistance with some technical information that required in-depth knowledge of the project. He also provided the images that was used.
The content has been used by the project owner on the project's official blog on Steemit.

The project owner features in the Hackmd doc. This proves content was created by me with the collaborative effort of the project owner.
