Overview
The concept of open source software goes beyond making source codes open to other people. It also provides a medium for collaborative development of a single project, by other individuals(who are called contributors). Anyone can contribute to an open source project, but not every kind of contribution is accepted. That's why it is necessary to have a contributors guideline to inform prospective contributors on how to make acceptable contributions. The contributor's guideline can also spur individuals to contribute to a project.
Bop music player is quite a new project. Most of the work that has been done on the project to date has been done by the project owner. However, there will be an influx of contributor's to the project, and the contributor's guideline will help them settle quickly, and make amazing contributions to the project.
Actual content
I created a contributor's guideline for the project. It was quite extensive, and that bothered the project owner a bit. He felt there were too many complex details that might be confusing to prospective users. He made necessary corrections himself and merged it afterwards.
