The project owner didn't make an official task request for this contribution. I loved the app and was moved to contribute to it. I proposed my idea to the project owner via a public issue on the project's repository, and the project owner gleefully accepted my proposal to help in any way I could.
Overview
Have you ever used a product without an instruction manual? I bet you had issues using that product. That is why instruction manuals are essential and included in every kind of product there is. This is to help you find your way around the product with ease. That is what a FAQs document is to a website or even a software. It helps you find your way around its working environment with ease. It is a self-service guide; meaning you won't be needing the attention of the developer to get some answers. This FAQs document was what I created for Bop music player.
Bop music player is a decent music player. I got to know about it from articles of contributors in the blog category. I was curious to find out why everyone liked the app. I tried it out for a few days and it wasn't so bad to use. It wasn't great either; to be honest. I looked up the app's repository to see if there was any content I could help create, and there was. The project has a privacy policy, but, FAQs for missing. I opted to create the document for the project. I did so because I found the app a little bit hard to understand and use after I installed it. It took me almost a day to fully grasp how the app worked. It took a lot of patience too, and I know many people aren't that patient. That's why I think this document was necessary.
Actual content
The content I created was a FAQs document. I went into details with the answers to some of the questions. I also used the content to expose some of the features may or may not have. The content was created to be concise and relevant to only Bop music player.
