Project Details

JabRef is an open source bibliography reference manager. In my opinion, this open-source, cross-platform citation and reference management tool could help people collect and organize sources, find the paper needed and discover the latest research. And the desktop application works on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.

JabRef is available free of charge and is actively developed. It helps a lot in research work. The key features of the application are Collect, Organize, Cite and Share.

Collect
Search across many online scientific catalogues like CiteSeer, CrossRef, Google Scholar, IEEEXplore, INSPIRE-HEP, Medline PubMed, MathSciNet, Springer, arXiv, and zbMATH

The translation I am working on is the JabRef_en.properties.

When I start working on the project, I found most of the project has been translated already. So I had a brief reading on the previous transition to have a better understanding on this application. But there are some inaccurate translation that may cause misunderstanding. For example, the word "entries" or "entry" has been translated to "记录" in the previous translation. But I think "条目" would be better. I am not sure whether I should keep the translation the same as it at the first. After confirming with the translator and proofreader in CN team, I translated the word to "条目" instead.

Translation Overview
Created last December, the source language of this project is in English and the total Words need to be translated is 7375 words. This is my first submission, total 981words done.

Before my contribution- there were 5,316 words translated in admin folder. It now stands at 6,297 words, total 981 words completed.
