Do not promote blocktrade.us and later we can create an open source version that is run on the crowd
I suggest to not promote or feature blocktrades.us in the code or on the website.
It is also mentioned on the (utopian code base)[https://github.com/utopian-io/utopian-io-landingpage/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=blocktrades.us&type=]
First of all blocktrade.us is not an open source project, yet it is being supported or promoted directly or indirectly.
Secondly there is no way to get support or relief from bugs or problems in blocktrades, I reported a bug here https://steemit.com/blocktrades/@h4ck3rm1k3st33m/blocktrades-did-not-process-my-transfer but the @blocktrades user did not even offer to refund my money or admit a bug.
I think there is a lack of responsibility here and would like to distance the open source projects from irresponsible non-free projects.
For the future and not part of this suggestion directly :
Is it not possible to create an open source version of blocktrades.us ? Is it not possible to have the trades processed by processors/miners who earn coin for running the processing? Do we need a central point of failure here?

It is related to steemit, I am suggesting for steemit to remove the refrences to blocktrade for the reasons stated.

I dont think you even read this. I am talking about steem and utopian promoting non open source software.
I have read it fully. It's not that we can suggest some open source platform to not use any closed source project. It's about the architecture. I have rejected this post as because it was containing defamation which is not supported in Utopian.
