This should be very interesting. Zuckerberg was the disruptor of the social media space back in the day.
He will soon be the disruptor of the crypto space.
I'm wondering how long before apps like Splinterlands appear on Libra. I recall how much simple gaming apps like Farmville and Candy Crush were able to make on the Facebook platform, this may open up another realm for them!
Not completely! I think Libra will disrupt the financial system as we know it, not crypto...
We will wait and see. I think Facebook will have the whole blockchain registering with fintrac, so I don't see it having much more disruption on the current Financial System than Western Union does - except, hopefully lower fees.
I see him bringing the current financial institutions into crypto. So, Wall Street will essentially own (from an influence standpoint) the exchanges.
But, it's pretty early to speculate. Exciting times to come.
