What is Trifa?

Trifa is a messaging application that allows users to communicate with each other via Android devices. The application has been developed as open source. You can access the application link here, Github page here.

First, I made some drawings on a paper to see how to combine the letter t and the messaging icon. Then I converted this drawing to a digital drawing in Adobe Illustrator. I added some oval lines behind the icon to make it more modern.
I decided to use the blue tones in the design.

I painted the icon with blue tones and studied it.

The old icon and new version are sides by side.

I tried different color versions of the new application icon.

Benefits / Improvements

It has been made much more modern.

Modern colors and shadows were used.

The application has been made to look like a professional messaging application.

A new icon email was sent to the developer.
