Introduction

I created a Facebook page with my facebook profile; Ewuoso Mayowa to promote open source projects. I named this page Promotion Page and its mainly to promote open source projects. The reason why i decided to promote Utopian on Facebook is because there are a lot of people out there with talents that can contribute to Utopian but are not aware of Utopian. Doing this will make them aware of Utopian . Most people have talents that are needed in Utopian but haven't heard about it, and these talents are not being noticed by other social websites. Making them aware of Utopian will let them know that their talents are not forgotten and their ability to make contributions can also be rewarded.

Audience

My audience are Men and Women Living in Nigeria (Lagos Lagos State; Abuja Federal Capital Territory; Ogun Ogun State; Cross River State; Oyo State; Adamawa State; Aba, Abia Abia State; Port Harcourt Rivers State) which sum upto 8 locations in Nigeria, between the Age: 18-65+

Activity

Firstly, I created a facebook page which i named promotion page and I published a post where i explained about UTOPIAN. In the post i gave a brief explanation about utopian, i also shared a link where Open Source is well explained and the link where new users will register. After, i decided to promote this post so that it will reach a wider audience. This promotion is a 24 hour promotion that started on February 3, 2018 10:45pm and will end February 4 2018 10:45pm

I planned a budget of 1,200 naira and I spent 822.14 naira at the moment i took the screenshot below. The promotion will stop itself and have a reach of 1545 and upto 650 engagements when the amount spent reaches 1,200 naira, which is the budget for the promotion.

Results

At the time i took the screenshot below, I had gotten 1115 reach and 478 post engagements and
and spend 837..67 Naira out of the budget of 1,200 Naira. The promotion is still active,which means there will be more reach and engagement before it completes
