SteemMakers Logo Design [Entry #02]

Hi Guys!

Once again, I'd like to contribute my 2nd entry to @jefpatat / SteemMakers logo design contest. My 1st entry can be found here. On this new logo design, I'm working around the idea of a flame or fire, which for me is literally a "steam maker". The logo uses a circular template, which also serves as its perimeter.

Below is the final result:

The logo is formed by two sets of flames, the red flame serves as the overall shape, while the blue flame was used to shape the letters "S" for steem and "M" that stands for makers.

The Workflow:

As for my workflow, I normally start my drafts using Autocad. At this stage, I was experimenting on the curvature of the flames. As mentioned earlier, my base pattern is a circle.

After visualizing the final form of the shape of my logo, then comes the outline of the flames.

After completing the outline, I imported the pattern to Photoshop to create the final shape and colorize the logo.
