This is a suggestion for scarlet note developers to include "categories option" to the application.
Components
Scarlet note is an open source application designed for the purpose of arranging and saving of notes, articles, events etc. It has some good features which makes it widely adopted but it would be a lot more user friendly if the app had the categories option to allow users to categorize notes for easy access.
Proposal
The developers of this app should endevour to add the categorization option to the app in a way that allows users to add a new note to a suiting category. That is, when creating a new note, one should be able to categorize the new note to the section where it should be. This would make it easy for users to find notes by category.
Mockups / Examples
The first screen shot below shows how the suggested feature works on a similar application while the second shows where the feature could be placed on the scarlet app to best serve it's purpose.
The screen shot below best illustrates where the feature should be added on the application.
Benefits
The suggested feature is very important to any app that offers similar service in that it helps arrange notes even better. Users tend to identify and differentiate between notes using the category option. This would make sorting or finding of saved documents easier for users. The feature would also assist strangers going through saved notes with directions on where to go to for a particular note or article instead of having to go through the stress of scrolling through the device.
