TAGS - VIEWS - TARGET AUDIENCES
HOW TO REACH CORRECT AUDIENCE
One of the biggest issues I've seen on STEEMIT is how to get your posts reach to the correct audiences in order to attract more real readers interested in what you write about. You spend hours and hours working in a great post, making sure it has a proper grammar, syntax and you've done a great research about it with some cool pictures, and if you don't get up votes in the first hour, maybe first two hours you'll probably see your post drowning into the bottom of the blockchain without even getting noticed.
Maybe this is not a big deal for some whales and dolphins, but for people like me (minnows and plankton) is kinda imposible to get a real audience which has easy access to their favorite topics.
Is almost imposible to get new active users to be fully interested on the platform if their posts get two or three views and generates almost a couple of votes, in most of the cases this could en up being a frustration and making people get bored easily, so I thought about it for a couple of weeks and I think maybe this could be a good solution to this problem.

First of all I think about reducing the tags to three in order to be more specific in which tags will be used in your post, being reduced in the amount of tags we are gonna be able to find what we want to read in a more appropriate organization. This will also gonna separate de posts in more reduced groups, it means if you talk about cryptocurrencies, you'll be forced to use the best tags to identify your topic without having to put tags just to complete the five. It could also be an option to follow some tags in order to receive notifications and know when a new post with that tag is published. This could not only be useful to track and follow your most interested topics, but help you with the curation rewards as you are gonna be notified about the post immediately in order to be one of the first readers. On the other side it could be a great idea to have a "trending - hot - promoted" section of the people we follow, this will be useful to check some of the posts we missed about the people we have as friends, in this case we are gonna be able to have a section for some posts with a couple of days made and without having to scroll down for ever.

Each user could have a "subscribe" option so you can get notified if that author post something about anything. With the amount of articles being post minute after minute it's almost imposible to not miss maybe a great post from our followers. Our blog could have a column with the people we get subscribed to and as the same way as Instagram it could let you know with some kind of notification if that user have a post we didn't read. In this way we are gonna be able to split our followers in two, the people we follow and read overtime we see a post from them, and the people we are waiting to post something and we don't want to miss about it.
For the last and not the least important thing, I came out with the idea of having groups, such as tags but with more specific topics; for example: # photography-nature-traveling could be a group where you see all posts having the photography tag that also are only about nature and traveling, in thins way what we are doing is grouping some specific content for readers to find it in an easier way. You are gonna be able to join groups or even create some, and it will be identified by the third tag, for example: photography travel photography-travel-nature to make them go into that group.
I can't stop thinking that one of the biggest problems is to connect the articles to the people who are truly interested in that topic. If we reduce the amount of tags to make it more specific, we could enable the notifications to get a poke every time our favorite authors posts, and we could organize our favorite tags in our page in order to find more relevant articles, and also get notified when a post in some category is being posted, we could be able to distribute the content in a better and more effective way, and this could make all real authors get more real readers.

hi bro. good idea. you might be able to create a look before and after. this will make it easier for readers. was there a friend of mine who asked, this new look ya.? so I explained, no, this is just the display if this idea is realized on platform.
Not reaching your audience on steemit is really an issue. Easy consumption of content is the biggest room of improvement for Steem.
